Santa Clarita Realtors on FaceBook



Facebook has been a great option for Paris and I to keep in touch with our clients.  In fact, when we meet people, we don't ask for phone numbers, we say, "Are you on FaceBook?"

However, the place where Real Estate agents fall short, is where other Real Estate agents are constantly pitching themselves or their products.  They are alienating people away when then act in the "Oh Look at Me" way.

Those that are interested in Santa Clarita Real Estate should know what you do for a living.  You can let them know this on FaceBook, but not by saying things like:

  • I'm The Number One Agent in Santa Clarita
  • Five Deals in Escrow - I am so awesome
  • I'm living a level 10 lifestyle
  • Bought my wife another 50K diamond pair of Diamond Ear-rings from Tiffany's
  • Five Listings for Sale - Three closing today - Rolling like it's stolen
Learn from the masters.  Watch those that have the most amount of followers and those that are not pitching, but are having a conversation.  Talking and interacting with others - being part of the conversation at a cocktail party.
