New Posts of our Santa Clarita Moves

You got to love Word press – I love Blogger – but I also love Word press for getting my thoughts to the public.  Some don’t care about my thoughts.  But that is Okay – Now that I have been covering what  I have been dreaming about – let me move onto our Stand alone aggregator.  Santa Clarita Moves!

It should prove to be quite popular where Local Business and Real Estate meet.  Yes, Commercial Real Estate also – just in case you are wanting to sell a local business or buy one.  We are not commercial agents – but we do know some very good ones Smile.

Santa Clarita has a lot of Real estate Search options, a lot of agents, a lot of CMS, content management systems, that are trying to sell one thing or another.  They are Guides, Journals, and other names associated with Santa Clarita.

They are all GREAT – I have spoken with the owner of the Santa Clarita Guide – She is wonderful and has the right “play it forward” philosophy when it comes to her operational guidelines.  You can view a lot of information on the Santa Clarita Guide.  We also have been known to send our clients there for information regarding the Santa Clarita Valley.

The Santa Clarita Business Journal, have not had contact with this system owner, but am hopeful that my email’s will be answered.

SCV concierge – On the board of this one and the networking events have made a lot of deals for the local business owners in the Santa Clarita Valley.  I have to say that networking works!

I am currently on the crapper… Please leave a message…

image Voice Mail for Real Estate?  It is necessary, because when we are with clients in meetings or showing properties I definitely consider it rude to answer the phone.  Our clients deserve our 100% attention.

But I want my greeting at our business offices very short, concise and to the point.

I want to let the caller know that they have called the right place and it was not a misdial.  I then want to inform them I think Voice Mail sucks, but we have no choice at the time they called.

Thirdly – I want to advise the caller we will return or call them back as soon as possible.

How is that?   Less that 40 words, or there about.  But you will notice if you call around to other agents you might get the “schedule” voice mail.  I return calls between 1 and 2 and again from 6 to 7, that means that agent never answers their phone.

How about the VM that says we are tied up with clients or finding buyers for our sellers and sellers for our buyers.  Why not just say all of the possibilities – including being on the “john”.  But I digress.

I have had it taught in some of the time management classes to “always return calls”, never answer them.  But what about someone like our team, that do our best to pick up the phone, if we know the number or if we know for sure it is not a “sales” call from a Real Estate vendor of some type.

Here is the bottom line – there are indeed sometimes that we will not be able to answer the phone.  But we try to answer it most of the time.  We are The Paris911 Team and we are Real Estate Head Quartered in the Santa Clarita Valley serving the surrounding communities.

Santa Clarita Lending – posted by our Friends at Augusta Financial and Mike Meena

There is a lot that I could say about lending, mortgages, first, second’s, gfe’s, good faith estimates and interest rates – but I usually leave that to our Team of Financial Wizards at Augusta Financial.  Here is the CEO, Owner, HMFIC, and Union Coordinator – Mike Meena with his Mortgage Education which is invaluable.

It matters not if you are working with his team or not – what matters is you getting the most accurate Mortgage Market Data.

Let Mike know if you have any questions and check them out on the WEB – http://Augustafinancial.com

Where does that leave Blogger – Google’s Blog Platform??

I love Social media.  I love to train and educate other Realtors and Real Estate agents.

I was in the RE/MAX of Valencia Office on Dickason Drive in Valencia CA, when one of the Licensed leasing agents from SCVLeasing came into the computer room, introduced herself and wanted to ask me some questions.

We talked about what her Team leader was doing and was not doing with Social media, Blogging and what other resources that The Paris911 Team finds valuable.

I introduced her to Twitter, 12Seconds, and my views with Facebook and Fan pages.  Being only the tip of the proverbial iceberg – If it was her business, she might be dangerous, because there was a true willingness to learn.  I rarely see the Team Leader wanting to build it themselves.  Thinking it is better to hire out – I see a huge mistake made in that model.  Those you hire aren’t you.  You are you and the one the Client wants to hire, not your marketer, or not your web optimizer or Canned blog Content writer.

It has taken me one hell of a learning curve, a lot of reading and self teaching about what works and what does not.  I find that consistency and on topic blogging is about the only “trick” that I know and that I attribute to Santa Clarita Real Estate and The Paris911 team’s Success.

We are always posting, or I should say I am the only author of all of our posts.  Not only a Subject matter in Real Estate – But someone that is not afraid of change or learning something new.

It might take me a while to wrap my mind around some of the new resources that present themselves on the Real Estate Front – but when I do, I become very dangerous as can be attested to by Kinetic Knowledge and other resources that we utilize with our Play it Forward business model.

I am not sure if this nice young lady will be willing to put the work that it takes to get where her boss wants to be.  But if they do they will be heads and tails above where they currently hit on the WWW.

I closed in stating that it is nice that the team leaders take trips, buy new boats and RV’s.  But I am not so sure that others in this world are really excited to be reading about their newest conquest that was had at the hands of a client’s earned commission.

I finalized that the close should be market expertise and not what vacation I am on or returning from.

As Police Officers, the general public wanted us to get the job done to keep them safe – it was just that sometimes they did not want to see it being done.

I have several pay for blog’s.  They hit like sledge hammers, I have a Square Space and several Lenses from Squidoo – but never ever forsake the Google blog Platform – Blogger – It hits like a 600 ton freight train, when used property and not as a Trick Device to post CRAP!

Santa Clarita Real Estate

Pictures are worth a thousand words - I just flew into Dallas DFW airport for a REO/Foreclosure Conference so we can best advise our clients as to what the happenings with the Real Estate market are and will be.

Interesting flight though - I think they are making planes smaller. I saw a few familiar faces amongst the other passengers - Which does my heart good to see that they are taking such an interest in the future of Santa Clarita Real Estate.

At the Hotel which I am staying, I was outside unloading the CAB and ran into an agent from Arizona who knows of Paris911. I was elated and this goes to show you what a little bit of work (ok, alright, I admit it a whole lotta work) can get you and your team with regard to Brand Awareness.
